Quick Observation
Went for a walk today up to Balu Pass and dug in the snow because it was my first day in the area this season. Results on the Snowpack tab.
Snowpack
Dug to see what was going on with the crusts towards the bottom of the snowpack. Three prominent crusts, one down 85cm, one down 125cm and one down 140cm. I suspect the two at the bottom are a part of the late October crust laminate that is on the radar. A well settled, right side up snowpack mostly with no results on ECT. The top and bottom crusts were P/P+, but the middle one, down 125cm was 1F and had big facets on top of it. Seemed like it was quickly breaking down. Did a Deep Tap test on it and got DTM14 (RP) result in the facets over the middle crust.
