Bijoux

Today in the bijoux riding area we dug a pit around tree line at 1550m on a NE aspect on a 20 degree slope. There was a inversion with the temps -20 at the staging area and -10 up top. The day was overcast with a freezing fog. We had two layers of concern the first one was down 38cm on a facet surface hoar crust layer that was reacting in the moderate range (CTM16) the second layer was down 77cm on another facet crust layer that was reacting in the hard range at (CTH27). The day was pretty good with the fresh snow. Play safe and have fun!
