SSV Meadows

Toured SSV meadows as we pulled the pin on Twin Cairns traverse due to the high winds. Dug a profile, 2358m, East aspect, HS 125cm, CTM11 SC down 35 on SH. Results were easily repeated. PST 40/100 END down 35 on SH again. Some settlement and cracking as we just took it easy along the ridge. Descended repeater slopes - mix of sun crust followed by powder. Noticed what seemed like a size 1.5 slab off Bourgault a bit above the waterfall. Loose dry about size 2 in close proximity, but didn't reach the top of the ice climb. Stay safe out there ...
