Hanging Lake

Up track coverage nearly there, all creeks passable but still open. We chose to stay off steep and open slopes. We observed heavy snowfall, immersion a possibility, snowboarders falling needed help to get up. Deep, heavy snow. Lower down coverage is still shallow, watch for holes (creeks), logs, rocks, etc. Decided to evaluate snowpack in opening in trees, leeward, convex roll - 40 degrees.
