We kept it pretty tame today in the trees on lower angled terrain and lakes. 90 cm new snow, sitting on a surface hoar layer, deep as stuck fest. Wind was howling for a good part of the morning, then tapered off by afternoon. Observed one sz 2 natural on a NE aspect with propagation of about 500m. Dug a pit and saw some spicy layers with moderate results on a 35 degree NE slope. All details on reactive layers in photo attached to this MIN.
A quick observation as we rode past it. Didn’t investigate it.
The wind was ALOT stronger in the morning and tapered off to light by the afternoon.
