Cirque Forepeak

It was dumping on the parkway today, at 1cm/hour in the morning, and ramping up to 3cm/hour by mid afternoon. We stuck to slopes under 25 degrees without overhead hazard. We noticed some cracking and propagation on wind slab layer below the storm snow above treeline, though we weren't on anything steep enough to slide. We heard some slides in the distance, but with heavy cloud cover we couldn't see where or how big.

We found 20-30cm of fresh storm snow over some firmer layers down below
