Heart Strings

Skied heart strings. Poor snow coverage lower down made for a tricky skin up through the trees, was fine up the bench. Snow felt supported and firm, no signs of instability on the skin up. Ridge at the top out to the run was manageable with crampons and ice axe for support. Couple CMs of fresh good snow at top of run, quickly turning to rain affected melt freeze crust snow in the boulder field and trees in the ski out - this section definitely needs more snow to ski properly.
