Onions baby onions

Fun day of easy travel around the Babines/Onion area. We enjoyed blue skies and light winds. We took the glorious weather, and low avalanche danger, as an opportunity to ski more consequential lines. On steep North aspects, we found 5-15 cm of wind affected powder. On South aspects, <5 cm of soft snow skied nicely on top of a supportive crust. We did not produce any significant results in snowpack tests. With that being said, low danger does not mean no danger. We noted numerous old wind slab avalanches, on various aspects throughout the day.
