Windslabs are real!

Skied farther south in the Highwood. -17 to start, -10 most of the day. Found reactive windslabs in usual locations. Ridge crest on south facing slope, one hit of a ski from backside of cornice was all it took. North facing chute, 2nd rider entering opposite side of chute from 1st, triggered at transition from skiing on scree to start of cross loaded wind hammered. Remotes a second pocket 20m downslope. Make sure riders are clear of your line before entering, and safe regroups! Only 24 hrs to go, maybe next year the gov will declare Highwood a year round resort
