Unreal skiing conditions today, about 15-20cm of fresh snow from recent days covering skin track from Dec 2nd (other min report). There was about 30cm of low density snow which made every turns absolutely fabulous, without any signs of instability or wind slabs on the ski down. The visibility was terrible tho. The skin up from Hamilton Lake to Carnarvon Col was more wind affected and few shooting cracks were observed. The ski out is definetly very thin, we skied down the Emerald Basin summer trail with skins on. Lots of rocks and hidden stumps, take it easy if you don't want to end your season.
