Chickadee valley

No crust below treeline in the valley this morning. Closer to treeline and above on north aspect had a decent crust that supported nice turns in surface of mashed potatoes. We turned back before I would say we encountered dry snow. South west facing tracks have slid to the dirt. Without the well beaten trail it would be an epic isothermal thrashing at the highway. Felt like mid to late April.
