Stanley valley

Skied up the Stanley valley. Nice trail in and we’re going with the intention to check some stuff out on Stanley. At the back of the valley just before the toe we kicked a small slab off, sudden planar, 40cm crown which ran for 50m. Did not give us much warning and with that we turned around. Some ice climbers did the same and were thrown around. Heads up hockey and this was without any solar input yet.
