Quick Observation

On our last run of the day an afternoon/evening southwest wind rolled in the Purcells. Significant south to sw winds were transporting remaining loose dry snow and touchy small wind slabs were beginning to form. Cornices continue to grow. The skiing and snow conditions were pretty amazing on east and north aspects. Temps were pretty consistent at 0 to -3 or so but intense sun. Solar aspects seem to be cooked and crusty. We noticed a few natural sloughs to size 1's on solar aspects.
