We spent the day shovelling out sleds and breaking trail to Bryant Lake. It is still quite cold out here, especially once you get a sweat on, so we kept our objective short and close to home. There is over 60 cm of storm snow on the ground, with more falling throughout the day, so we avoided all avalanche terrain until we can better assess how the new snow is bonding to the facets and wind crusts. Be sure to read the forecast before heading out, as things can change quickly with this amount of new snow.
