Sugarbowl Trail Condition - Dec 28, 2025

We set out to ski the Sugarbowl zone, 1 hour east of Prince George and off Highway 16 but turned around at 1050 m, 1.7 km from the trailhead due to the late hour and only about 30 cm of snow on the forest floor. We chose not to ski to avoid damaging our skis and hiked back out instead. Solid exercise overall, but there isn’t enough snow to ski at lower elevations — and likely not much more higher up.
