Glorious day on the north aspects of the Bruins Glacier. Skied multiple lines off of the col between 8812 and Ursus Major. Quite a few other skiers and boarders were out in that area getting their daily dose of vitamin D. Many of which skied the large convex roll that is directly under 8812 with no avalanche release. Anything southwest-southeast had a gnarly crust forming and was becoming more reactive as the day went on. We decided to ski the more shaded Bruins Pass side to Hospital Bowl. As per the other min posted 8812 had a size 1.5 incidental. From the little of what we heard, it was one person in their party that caused it. Airbag was deployed. It seemed like everyone thankfully walked away from it.
