Pedley pass

It was a cold day at pedley pass today. But good skiing. About 30cm of new snow made for excellent skiing and good times. We saw about 4 natural avalanches ranging from size 1.5-2.5 and occurred probably 1-2 days ago.

Cold morning. But warmed up to nicer Temps.

Snow depth at treeline was 130-145cm. We dug a snow pit and did two compression tests. Here are the results Test 1. CTM12 Rp down 10cm CTH 24 SC down 85cm Test2. CTH23 SP down 30cm CTH24 SP down 55cm CTH25 SP down 85. The mid November and mid December weak layers are still existing. But triggering is not super likely. But if triggered, it's gonna go big!
