Skied excellent snow at ashman on Saturday and Sunday. The south aspect had a thin rain crust on the on Saturday, which made the skiing back to the fsr slightly more challenging. By Sunday the crust was buried and wasn’t noticeable. On the north side of the ridge: we didn’t find this crust. The skiing on this side was very fun. Ski penetration was ankle to boot top deep in the new snow. Probing with a ski pole at various places found increasingly firm snow beneath. Ski cut a few convexities with no results.
