Baldy rocks

40 cm of low density fresh snow made for fun riding conditions today! The top 10 cm of new snow was sloughing easily- so we used caution in steeper terrain. Some exposed terrain was wind affected, but this was easy to avoid since it was just small pockets on the ridge top. There was a crust approximately 40 Cm deep, with facets below. We were a bit concerned about this layer so we avoided open and steep slopes.
