Sunny above the valley fog called for a Little Simpsons adventure.
Observations:
Very little soft snow remains above treeline, the winds have done their damage. Crust on solar aspects at treeline and below. Thin rain crust to ~1400m. Good snow to be found on sheltered NE aspects at treeline and below.

Multiple old winds lab avalanche observed around the upper portions of Little Simpsons

ECT 15 down 25cms on the rain crust layers, propagated halfway across the column.
With harder compressions we also had failures at ground level where significant moisture remains. Old slides in the area also appear to have slid down to ground.
