Fun in the Fantail Flats

Riding in the Fantail flats was good today. Sled access has improved since the last storm which brought over 40cm new snow. Travel conditions are good: not much overflow on lakes, creeks are mostly filled in and snow depth is over 1m in at valley bottom. Deep power riding was fun but snow is a little bit heavy and it is still feeling kind of bottomless. Weather was pleasant, warm and calm, with good visibility. That gave us a chance to have a good look around and we didn't see much for recent natural avalanche activity on slopes in the Fraser and Halcyon area.
