White Pyramid

Skied/climbed White Pyramid today. Fast travel to the col with evidence of multiple recent slides originating in extreme terrain on Epaullete Mt (possible cornice failure?) to size 2, as well as loose wet slides to size 1 TL and below. Weather was mainly cloudy with a strong SW wind that increased over the duration of the day. Ridge travel was variable with ankle to knee boot penetration. Significant wind transport occurring by the time we skied down; new wind slabs forming in lee features. Ski quality abysmal with a variable breakable crust that persisted right down to the lake.
