Yeoward Mtn. Monashees

AST level 1 Sunday up at Yeoward Mtn had 11 sledders out and here is what they found: upon identifying and testing the facet layer down 75cm on a leeward slope. This Pencil density wind slab is sitting on a 4finger layer of facets. The layer failed on CTH21 down 75cm on the bottom of a 8cm think facet layer. In the test the result was resistant planner but took very little to persuade it to slide off suddenly.
