Quick Observation

Approaching Stanley N glacier just below the far toe we remote triggered a 50cm deep slab which propagated 50m wide and ran slowly 100m into a depression. We noted several large settlements earlier but were not on anything steep enough to be too move but approaching the glacier terrain got more committing. Of note this was at 7am and at the coldest point of the morning, probably around -15°c up there with no sun and little wind.

Avalanche Information

50cm slab probably a combination of wind loading creating such depth but seemed more like temperature consolidation with perhaps a little wind affect. Easy remote propagation from settlement skinning up. Slid on a few different density facets but all loose crap on top of firmer midpack.
