Highway Avalanche Control - Mt. Denis

Helicopter avalanche control on Mt. Dennis produced results up to size 2.5. 8 out of 10 shots initiated a slab avalanche. One avalanche crossed the field back road depositing 2 m deep debris. Two avalanches went over Pilsner Pilner but some hazard remains. No avalanche activity observed over Carlsburg and the path was not bombed. Guinness - one shot placed at the base of Guinness Stout produced a size 1, lots of loose snow remains all the way up the route, no naturals have occurred in the path.
