Miller Ck

AST 1 Course observations today,ski tour to Miller Ck area. Up to 10cm of recent new snowfall, covers small hoar frost crystals that grew in sheltered areas below the treeline on Monday. There was no wind effect in the trees, and minimal wind affect in the Alpine, but transport was observed from previous NE winds. An old cornice triggered size 2 avalanche was observed in Miller Ck, several days old now, from very steep, SE facing alpine terrain.
