Balu Bird

Skied 8812 bowl from bruins ridge. Heavy wind transport on the leeward side of bruins ridge and wind loading on the leeward faces of Balu/8812 peak which we avoided. Tested slopes on the way up by jumping multiple times with no results. Snow in 8812 was soft and supportive and made for good riding but felt a little dense, has consolidated/been wind affected since last snowfall. Some size 1 dry loose slides had run from the peak into 8812.
