Avalanche Information
Documenting a few large dry slab avalanches that ran during the storm in the first few days of April, and a handful of small wet loose avalanches that have run in the past few days during warmer weather.
Weather
Gusty winds ATL were transporting small amounts of snow. At 11k, temperatures dropped to 32F last night, and rose to 43F. Clouds increased later in the day. cloud cover: few; wind loading: light; snow avail for transport: small smounts
Snowpack
Frozen crusts this morning offered good stability. By about 10:45, we started ski cutting rollerballs near the bottom of our descent on E to NE aspects BTL.
