Quick report
Toured around gash knob on Tuesday and found about 10 inches of soft loose new snow sitting on a 1.5-inch thick hard crust. I didn't find slabbiness or reactivity on any aspect across most of the slope, but there seemed to be some wind slab forming along ridgelines, and another party triggered a slab on the steep face from the top of gash knob (see photo). Two other notes: - There was already pretty significant surface hoar development on Tuesday morning - New snow was warming FAST in the afternoon, and things will likely be changing quickly
