We dug a few hasty pits on a wind affected glacial moraine in the valley facing the same NE aspect as the slide path area. Snowpack depth across slope was variable, less than 20cm, 1.5m. Deeper areas were non-reactive (30), but shallow area tested (less than 10") was very reactive (failed at 10cm and ground) when isolating column.
