Quick report
Dug a pit at 5600 on a north aspect. Observed the mid January crust about 8” below the surface. There is faceted snow below the December crust. Column test did not yield a result. After a shovel shear test the break was a planar Q2 at the December crust. Skied well. We did release small loose slides on slopes over 35 degrees on the January crust. No natural slides were observed.
