The near surface facets above the 1/10 interface will be a major concern should we get some new snow and a new slab.

Curiosity about potential isolated pockets of reacting slabs in wind loaded areas above the 1/10 interface. @6100’ NE and NW aspects ; 30cm 4F overlying 5cm F hard 2 mm near surface facets overlying 2cm 1/10 crust. Below that, Progressively harder 1F to P rounds. Hand shears on the facets above the 1/10 exhibited planar results and mixed results on compression - some sudden results and some breaks. No propagation on multiple ECTs.
