Quick report

Great day in the Bitterroots. Bluebird day with no wind. About 5” of fresh, very low-density snow overnight. Temps seem like they stayed around ~25F for most of the day. Dug a pit above the start zone of the N facing main avy path of Gash Point: ECTN22 40cms down on the new-old snow interface. Skied boottop powder in the main path. Solar aspects were beginning to develop a sun crust in the afternoon, but skiing remained good for our travel.
