Took a stroll up paradise and into Lavelle area. Dug a pit at 7500’ NW and a found the snowpack faceting, primarily near the surface. Boot penetration was about 2’, almost the depth of the entire winters snow pack. You may have been able to trigger a small wind slab today in upper elevation exposed terrain today. New snow was edge deep and made turning more fun on Paradise.
