Riding conditions were definitely slope aspect dependent. South aspects stayed pretty frozen and crusty until mid afternoon warming started to soften them up slightly. We dug a pit on a south aspect and found a total of 250cm of snow, of which the top 90 was moist. We then went to check out a north aspect and found there was still dry powder and good riding there. We then unfortunately broke an A-Arm on the sled hitting a hidden rock under the snow in the flats. We saw signs of recent loose wet avalanches up to size 1.5 in the area from previous warm days.
