Observed

I experienced less collapsing than the previous day in the E Fk of the Big Wood, but that isn't saying much. I triggered at least a dozen large, booming, starting zone-sized collapses.

Weather

Scrappy low and mid level clouds moving across the sky throughou the afternoon, bringing periods of diffuse sunshine and periods of up to S2 snowfall. Daytime accumulation of ~3-5cm

Snowpack

Storm totals of 5-7cm at highway (6,700'), 8-12cm by 7k', and 20-30+cm above 8k'. Trees became rime covered above 8.5k'.

A snowpit dug at 9,200' on a NW slope:
HS=130-140cm

2/1 interface (multiple rain crusts and ambient melt crusts with intercalated facets here). produced multiple partial ECTPs in the 4-8 range (crossing half the block or so) on small grained facets above the upper crusts. I think this was originally coded as ECTPP (partial propagation).

1/6 down 70-75cm produced ECTP 27 and ECTX with full propagation with 3 additional shoulder hits.

11/30 down 95-105cm produced ECTP 26.

I remotely triggered one avalanche that would have been large enough to bury a person.
