Quick report
We observed a solid overnight freeze that made for pleasant skinning. As the temps rose and the sun popped out around 10:30am the snow rapidly began heating. Up to 5k southerly aspects were mush at 11-11:30am but above 5k the snow was more corn-esque and skied great! Basically, all of the Red mtn west face was various forms of avi debris so we picked a different adjacent slope. Did not observe any forms of instability, but it was hot and sunny on the ski out around noon.
Avalanche
Lots of old wet slide debris/roller balls/rock shedding on all aspects.
