Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Thick but still somewhat unsupportive crust on the high incidence angles of south facing slopes...pretty unpleasant firm skin tracks and previously skied zones. anything low angle to south or northerly was largely soft and preserved. Only wind affected snow encountered on the day was in Herman Saddle and seemed to be caused by westerlies rather than the prevaling easterly that has built the small cornices in that area. Really pleasant snow above the two lakes in the circe below Table mt glacier.

Avalanche

Point releases and rollerballing evident from day prior on southerly aspects. Huge crowns from older slides that have recent natural on top of their debris on northerly aspects and one set of fresher slabs on panorama dome that looked from a distance to include the natural snow of the last few days on a nw aspect.
