Quick report
The snow where I traveled was predominantly right-side-up, with a low density layer sitting on the surface. Very pleasant for sledding. Compared to Heather Meadows, where I was the previous day, snow totals were a little less at Canyon Creek, even at the same elevation. Nevertheless, there was sufficient snow cover, most of which fell in the last 5 days. I was unable to travel to upper elevations to investigate wind-effect and slab reactivity at that elevation.
