Quick report
Fresh snow was already heavy and mushy, strangely as the day progressed it felt like a crust was already forming on the top. Really felt like it was setting up to form a breakable crust if it gets much colder tonight. Roller balls and point release avalanches were seen on steep south facing slopes.
