Quick report

No obvious signs of instability except for WL from before 2/14 when we entered hut terrain. On 2/8 layer at Williams, 3 x ECTX, weakening slab on notherly slopes and slab is consolidating on E where sun is affecting snow, and very limited observation of wind stiffened snow over the layer. Winds were blowing strong and gusting to extreme from the south this afternoon. Rooster tails on alpine peaks with moderate snow transport. Many wet loose avalanches on steep, rocky south faces from before 2/14.

Snowpack

No info below 50cm down. Overall mid and lower pack feel upright and strong by probe. Surface is crust/ wet grains on solars and FCsf/DF and SH in the shade. Slab above 0208 layer is highly variable. On mid elevation East's it has consolidated and stiffening but on more northerly aspects it is still F and seems to be faceting.
