Quick report

Today felt like winter is finally beginning and had some really pleasant turns. Several hand pits on N, NE, and E aspects from 6,800-7,550 ft elevation showed that new storm snow came in right side up, up to appx. 50 cm total. Storm snow is not (perhaps, yet) bonding to the now buried surface. No signs of instability. Wind gusts were moving some new snow around on ridgelines: Note to pay attention to any wind slabs that may start developing.
