There's a lot of new snow out there! We generally stuck to smaller features, lower-angle terrain, and well-supported slopes. In these areas, we didn't expect to see many obvious signs of unstable snow. Shooting cracks up to 8-10ft long mainly confined to very soft wind-loaded pockets.

Intermittent light snow showers, a few brief sunbreaks, and moments of more moderate winds... all in all a pretty nice post storm day! New snow from the past 12hours was about 6-8in with storm totals of exceeding 3ft of settled snow.
Snowpack
Wind: Lots of evidence od wind transport along ridges and exposed areas, but cornices remain small and wind slabs were often very soft. We often saw shooting cracks in wind pillows. Upper snowpack: The new snow seemed generally right-side-up. We could find a few subtle density breaks.
Avalanche
We intentionally triggered multiple small soft slabs 4-8" deep with our skis and by cutting small cornices. These slides typically did not propagate very widely but they did travel several hundred feet down the slopes. Avalanches were typically on NW-N-E and S (where we traveled) terrain and at various elevations. SS-ASc-D1-R1-S
