Quick report
Through out the day our travel took us from CoOp creek TH to Currant Creek peak. Snowpack was about 140cm (4.5-5') at the high elevations. The snow (where there had been a lot of traffic) was very supportive. However, steeping out in the trees (boondocking) there is still a lot of unsupportable snow and I was sinking into the low layer of facets.

- <p>Quick (2) pit/ect test on a north/northwest facing aspect produced a irregular (non planer) fracture at ECT28 on our second test. The fracture occurred in the deep facet layer with the fracture running horizontal from 45 cm to 55cm above the surface. First test was ECTX... </p> <p>By mid to late afternoon the snow had arrived and was dumping above 8-8.5k in elevation. </p>
