Very little wind transported snow, but some minor cracking in fresh shallow wind slabs on the north side of the compass.

A nice smooth groomed trail this morning and much welcomed with the hard frozen tracks throughout the area.

Grey skies and a slight increase in the winds as the afternoon went on. No new snow while I was out.

I was only finding some isolated and shallow wind slabs on the exposed ridge lines. These were not connecting yet and did not create any issues where I was today.

Just some very isolated shallow wind slabs on the ridge lines and these were very small and not real connected.

Looks like the forecasted storm for this evening will be quite warm with dense snow. This new snow could become damp and active as the day heats up.

Lots of frozen hard sled tracks, a stout melt freeze crust on the south side of the compass, but still some nice dense creamy snow on high shady north slopes.
