Sky Pilot Glacier

Observed a old sz 1.5 natural slide today on the second gully below Stadium glacier. Bed surface appeared to be ice and rock.

We observed widespread surface hoar growth today, growth was around 2 cm at the bottom of the Shannon basin in protected, open areas. At the top of the "Tree Triangle" on the way to the Stadium Glacier growth averaged around 1 cm from 1300m to 1500m
