Rock Isle Lake

Went for a walk to Rock Isle lake from top of standish. On southern aspects, the crust is still breakable under 20cm new snow. Good snow on NE aspects, but still punches down to rock, and starting to get pretty tracked out. Recent avalanche on an eastern aspect next to the lake, estimate 30m wide, sz 1.

Dug on an eastern aspect. HS 65-82cm. Found 20cm of PP fist snow sits on top of the Nov 16th 1cm SH, which is faceting. This overlays 1F FC to base. CTE 2 (SC) down 20 on SH 10-12mm, Nov. 16
