- <p>Widespread localized collapsing noted in untraveled/pristine snow below 8000'. Raven expressed his displeasure with the cacophonous collapsing and flew elsewhere. Surface hoar and facets the culprit noted 40cm down. </p>

- <p>Avalanches noted in UFO 1 and 2 (northeast at 9800') (photo below). Size 1 and 2, running on the November PWL. </p> <p>Collapsing with every step in the low elevations up to 8000'. ECTPV down 40cm on SH/facets. Exceedingly weak facets (see photo).</p> <p>In the mid-elevations, ECTX and ECTX on Nov facets - 4F, 4F+ facets. See snowpilot. Having said that, the Provo mountains experienced a good avalanche cycle Nov 12/13. (photo UFO 2)</p> <p> </p>
Idle weather does the devil's work. Surface hoar and RR facets noted along the snow surfaces. Surface faceting also taking place with the clear and cold.
