Quick report
Parked vehicle about 1/2 mile from trailhead although high clearance 4x4 can now make it through snow patches to trailhead. Trail is covered with a lot of tree debris and snow patches. Consistent snow 1 mile in on trail. Camped well below spring area. Consistent snow to mushroom rock. Boot packed to summit and ski descent. Began ski descent via clear creek route at 2:00 pm. Upper mountain skiing was firm and heavily wind textured. Good ski conditions mid route. Afternoon heat quickly softened snow leading to challenging slushy (waterski) turns for the rest of the descent. Some small wet sluffs and rollerballs initiated. Long route, beautiful day. Did not confirm if water was available at springs.
