Cracking
isolated

Skiier triggered several small wind slabs while skiing down. Also noticed isolated cracking of wind slabs while breaking trail going up. Slabs were isolated and did not step down below the latest storm layer. Slab depth was up to ~1 foot in depth. We were surprised to trigger wind slabs even in locations below treeline that are typically more protected from the wind. No evidence of larger slides was observed- but visisibility was low, and we mostly stayed in terrain below 30°
